Special Storytime: The Story of America’s Birthday by Patricia Pingry -11:00 AM & 1:00 PM

Mini-Musical – 12:00 & 2:00 PM

• A Sound Connection – A robot from the planet Solar and a caveperson from Earth come together for one common interest; the wonder of sound! Join these unlikely friends as they travel down the “Earie” Canal, listening to different animals in the wild, dancing and moving like sound waves, and becoming lifelong friends! Join the fun during this special Blue Man Group-Making Waves inspired mini-musical!

Music & Movement: Special July 4th Parade and “Fireworks” – 3:00 PM

• Parade and “Fireworks” – Join your Imaginators in our Fourth of July Parade. After the parade, salute our country by singing a roaring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner followed by You’re a Grand Ole Flag. The program will conclude with a special indoor Imagination fireworks display that involves your feet and bubble wrap.

Super Spectacular Science Show – 4:00 PM

• Every afternoon, Professor Labcoat shares a fascinating science demonstration with the whole museum! Join him to see what kind of fun he and his assistants have cooked up! Questions are encouraged at the end of the show.

Science Bar – open 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Science is everywhere, but it’s especially on the mezzanine at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta! Staffed by a STEM educator with a whole menu full of fun activities and a whole head full of knowledge, the Science Bar is where questions turn into answers! For the Fourth of July learn about firework colors and can implosions!

Art Studio Open: Special July 4th Craft – 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pin Wheels – Make a pinwheel in the Art Studio and join in CMA’s Fourth of July Parade at 3:00 pm!

Build It Lab Open: Special July 4th Project – 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Star Spangled Mobile – Come to the Build It Lab and make a star spangled mobile.  Made of sticks, streamers and string it will brighten up your July 4th celebration.

Admission is $15.95 plus tax for ages 1- 100; children under 1 receive free admission.
