Always check ahead to make sure the event is still going on the day you plan to attend.
Walk around the green, run through the water fountains, bring a ball to throw around or bring a blanket to relax and people watch. This is a fun area with lots of window shopping and restaurants near by. Saturdays April-October there is a farmers market here too.
Avalon Little Acorns
Learning is fun at Avalon’s bi-weekly Little Acorns featuring a variety of interactive activities!
Bring your pre-school-aged tot for playtime in The Plaza on Tuesday’s bi-weekly, April through October. Weekly activities may include kids’ yoga, story time, visits from famous characters, music class, and more!
This event is subject to cancellation or postponement due to weather. In the event of inclement weather, a cancellation notice will be posted on our social media (@avaloninsider).
Parents must stay with children during the event.
Our story time is organized by bloom and local volunteers for parents and little children (around 1-4 year old) every Wednesday 10:30AM-12PM at the porch or in the farm next door, or inside of bloom (if it's rainy). We provide music activities, coloring pages, or bubbles other than story telling,
Great area to let the kids run around, lots of times there are free concerts or movies going on here.
Halcyon Discovery Days
Wednesdays (Usually from April - October) from 10 a.m. to noon, preschoolers are invited for a morning of guided educational activities, such as arts and crafts, music classes, animal encounters and more.
