CYT Summer Theater Camps offer an encouraging environment that trains students to appreciate, participate, and collaborate in the dramatic arts.
On the first day, campers will be placed onto teams led by an energetic and compassionate camp counselor. Throughout the week, these teams bond by playing fun games, accomplishing team building exercises, and memorizing bible verses. Every day, campers rotate through a series of theatrical workshops including Voice, Acting, Dance and Theater Tech. Finally, campers rehearse material for a Showcase which is free and open to the public on the Friday of each camp week.

Production Camp - Madagascar Junior
Based on the DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. follows the lovable characters as they escape their home at New York’s Central Park Zoo only to find themselves in the unexpected land of Madagascar. Join Alex the Lion and his friends as they bound onto your stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime.

Ages: Rising 3rd through rising 9th grade
Schedule: June 11-21: 10am-3pm, June 22: 3:30pm-7:30pm, Shows June 23 at 2pm and 5pm

Come join Simba and the crew as we journey from Pride Rock to the Jungle and beyond with classic songs from the movie and more! This will be a week full of fun workshops and games! Each day the campers will participate in acting, dance, tech, and singing workshops where they will learn skills from all areas of theatre alongside their rehearsals for showcase!

Ages: 5 years to 5th grade
