Crabapple Community Association 4th of July Parade - MILTON

More Info: The parade will begin at 10:30AM leaving from the Broadwell Pavilion on Broadwell Road. Following the parade, we will have prizes for the most spirited individuals of all ages, family, dog and wagon/stroller float. Kona Ice will be in attendance and we will have games, music, and more!

Independence Day Celebration - JOHNS CREEK
Newtown Park, 3150 Old Alabama Rd., Johns Creek

2017 Star-Spangled Spectacular & Family Fun Festival - KENNESAW
Campus Green at KSU, 1000 Chastain Road, Kennesaw

More Info: This free, annual event is held on the Campus Green in the heart of KSU’s Kennesaw Campus and features a patriotic concert with performances by the KSU Big Band and KSU Summer Orchestra followed by a spectacular fireworks finale. In addition to the concert, be sure to arrive early beginning at 5 p.m. to enjoy the Family Fun Festival featuring games, inflatables, face painting, balloon artists, food trucks, vendors and exhibits from the KSU community and beyond, and more.

More Info: Music from the band Shiloh will begin at 7:30 pm and fireworks will dazzle the sky beginning at 9:45 pm. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy an evening under the stars. Pets, tents, outdoor cooking, drones, alcohol, and personal-use sparklers will not be permitted.

8th Annual Independence Day Doughnut Eating Competition - CUMMING

More Info: It's the 8th annual exhibition of North Georgia's most skilled eathletes! This year's competition will benefit Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, to fund research for children fighting cancer. The festivities will kick off at 10am with the kids' divisions, followed by the main event at 11am. Folding chairs and pop-up canopies are welcome (and encouraged), as the heat can be formidable on the 4th.

3rd Annual Barbecue & Bluegrass - ROSWELL
Barrington Hall, 525 Barrington Dr., Roswell

More Info: Enjoy barbecue and bluegrass music in the backyard of Barrington Hall. The King family, who built Barrington Hall, held a 4th of July barbecue for their friends and neighbors in the 1800s. We will revisit their tradition with live music, barbecue, beer, soft drinks, and desserts for sale. A children's area will keep the youngsters occupied with games and crafts. Come enjoy this laid-back and musical 4th of July celebration. 

4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza - ROSWELL

More Info: The 18th Annual Roswell Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at Roswell High School on the front yard of the school. This wonderful Roswell tradition is a great family event filled with live stage performances, a Kids Zone and great food! You won’t want to miss Roswell’s largest community celebration! Bring your picnic blankets, chairs, and the entire family. However, dogs are not allowed at this event. (Roswell High is a drug, alcohol and tobacco free school). 

4th of July Celebration - ALPHARETTA
Wills Park, 1825 Old Milton Parkway, Alpharetta

More Info: Alpharetta Recreation and Parks will host an evening of entertainment and children’s activities on the lawn and field behind Alpharetta Community Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with our spectacular fireworks display to begin at dusk! Enjoy inflatables, face painting, balloon animals and fun in the children’s area, sponsored by Alpharetta Golden Age Club, with wristbands available for nominal fees. Food vendors located throughout the park will serve festive fare from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., including barbeque, hot dogs, hamburgers, Mediterranean style dishes, wood-fired pizza, tacos, grilled cheese, kettle corn, tapas, old fashioned lemonade, Italian ice, snow balls, ice cream and shaved ice delights!

4th of July Steam Engine Parade - CUMMING
The official beginning of the parade starts at the intersection of Tribble Gap and Woodland Drive. 
Parade entries other than the dignitaries and steam engines line up at Forsyth Central and can be seen coming down Tribble Gap from the high school. The parade ends at the fairgrounds.

More Info: The Forsyth County Steam Association comes together each July in order to bring the Thomas-Mashburn Memorial Parade to our city square in celebration of Independence Day. With it comes a display of sights and sounds like none other! The 4th of July parade proudly showcases a unique collection of steam engines, antique cars, marching bands, local ball teams, firetrucks, celebrities and much more! It is truly an experience you will never forget, so load up some lawn chairs and bring the kids for an entire day of excitement! City of Marietta July 4th Celebration - MARIETTA

More Info: Celebrate Independence Day beginning with the Let Freedom Ring Parade at 10 AM followed by a celebration on the Square, free concerts, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and a fireworks finale. The Let Freedom Ring Parade will include about 85 entries and approximately 2,000 participants.  The parade will begin at 10am at Roswell Street Baptist Church, and travel west on Roswell Street, north on East Park Square past Glover Park and the Square, down Cherokee Street and end at North Marietta Parkway.

More Info: Our huge parade kicks off the celebration at 10am. The parade starts and ends at Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Rd. It travels up Main St to Towne Lake Parkway, Mill Street, Market St, Fowler St, Main St ,and back to the school. After the parade, join us in The Park at City Center until 3pm for food, live music in the gazebo, children’s games, cake walk, arts & crafts, Adam the Juggler, and vendors of all types. Fun for young & old.

Centennial Park 4th of July Celebration - ATLANTA
Centennial Olympic Park, 265 Park Ave. W NW, Atlanta

More Info: Live, family-friendly entertainment in the late afternoon and the evening concludes with an impressive fireworks display. The televised fireworks display is synchronized with a special selection of patriotic and popular music celebrating America’s independence. MARTA is strongly encouraged for transportation. Arrive at the Park early to get a good seat.

City of Decatur 4th of July - DECATUR

More Info: Get on your feet and join the Pied Piper Parade as it makes its way through downtown Decatur on July 4. Gather friends and family, ride your bike, walk or skate in this community parade – it’s for anyone and everyone! Neighborhoods and organizations are encouraged to make floats and join the fun too. And don’t forget your red, white and blue! The parade begins at 6 p.m. The Concert on the Square starts at 7 p.m. in the Community Bandstand and features the Callanwolde Concert Band. Fireworks begin at dark (approximately 9 p.m.).

Dunwoody 4th of July Parade - DUNWOODY
Intersection of Mount Vernon Road and Jett Ferry Road to Dunwoody Village

More Info: Parade features marching bands, floats, clowns, animal units and local celebrities. Last year the parade attracted over 2,500 participants and 32,000 spectators!

Sparkle in the Park - LILBURN

More Info: This annual event in Lilburn City Park will include a variety of food, children's activities, and of course, fireworks! The Breakfast Club, known as the longest running and most recognized '80s tribute band in the U.S., will perform at 7:30 p.m., and the fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.


July 4th Celebration at Children's Museum of Atlanta - ATLANTA
