JUMP TNT is a new Sports Center that teaches the Olympic sport of competitive trampoline and power tumbling.
The sport of TnT, which stands for “Trampoline and Tumbling,” is a form of gymnastics. In trampoline, kids are first introduced to the basic jumping and twisting skills. As they progress, you are sure to see exciting high-flying skills that include multiple twists and flips that combine into a "routine". TnT is comprised of 4 events: trampoline, synchronized trampoline, double-mini trampoline, and power tumbling.
Owner Jim Dowling, who has taken over 100 athletes to the National Championships, has opened this facility in order to offer both recreational and competitive level training in the sport of Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Dowling was a former competitive gymnast, coached for over 20 years, and is the Georgia state chair of the United States Trampoline & Tumbling Association. 
In addition to their competitive program, JUMP TNT offers a variety of recreational classes for children ages 3 and up and all body types. Professional instructors teach trampoline classes, tumbling classes, back handspring clinics, preschool classes, and daytime homeschool P.E. classes. These classes allow kids to participate and learn new skills in a fun and safe environment. JUMP TNT also offers open gym and camps throughout the year.
The JUMP TNT competitive teams participate in both the USA Gymnastics (USAG) and USTA organizations. The United States Trampoline & Tumbling Association, founded in 1971 by Larry Griswold and George Nissen, (the inventor of the trampoline), began with only 200 athletes. Today, the USTA hosts over 2200 athletes at their National Championshipeach year. Last year, 35 of those athletes were Dowling’s. This sport is perfect for gymnasts who are looking for a change or who would like a less time consuming training schedule to accommodate other activities.
