Camp Details (Ages 4-5):

Jr. Chemist
It is time for Glues, Brews and Goos! From our stock pile of hundreds of recipes and formulas, we have chosen our top favorite chemistry activities. Campers will love digging into and examining the results of these crazy chemical concoctions! Camp Dates: June 8th

Little Engineer
Sir Isaac Newton never had this much fun! Campers will be immersed into our toy maker’s workshop as they construct and take home several different toy projects during the week. Each project will teach an important physical property. Camp Dates: June 8th

Tech Machines
This is the perfect camp for the 4 and 5-year-old LEGO builder, as we introduce science and design technology concepts using LEGO’s Early Simple Machines and Tech Machine Sets. Campers build fun and simple models such as see saw, rolling vehicle, spinning top, raft and many more. By building these devices campers are exposed to the concept of simple machines such as levers, gears, and wheels and axles while exploring energy, buoyancy, and balance. For extra excitement we add Tech Vehicles where campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Camp Dates: June 15th

Little Scientist
This unique camp will offer an incredible collection of projects and experiments that will amuse and amaze your little scientist! By being involved with several hands-on activities your child will explore the basic scientific ideas that play a role in everyday life. Camp Dates: June 15th

Claymation
Leave it to Club Scientific to find animation software suitable for 4 and 5 year olds. Using ZU3D Stop Motion software, campers can create their own Claymation movies. Zu3D stop-motion animation software has been developed to give children of all ages the freedom to create amazing animated films quickly and easily. Camp Dates: June 22nd

Jurassic
Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are very much alive in Camp Jurassic. Campers learn about a variety of dinosaurs and their habitats. Rocks, minerals and fossils are studied along with a variety of related projects. Camp Dates: June 22nd

Camp Details (Ages 6-11):

Little Robot Mechanic
This camp is an introduction into the world of robotics. Campers will learn about the six simple machines and how they are incorporated into more complex machines. Campers will also learn about circuits and power sources as they build our “Mars-like” RC Rover. The radio-controlled RC Rover is capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers will also have fun constructing our Aluminum Can Robot. Camp Dates: June 8th

3D Game Design with Minecraft
Minecraft is a block-building sandbox game with no set rules, where you can build anything you can possible imagine.

Let’s pretend you’re alone in a mysterious new world, full of hidden dangers. You have only minutes to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come looking for you. What do you do? What we teach you might just save your life! Learn how to find resources; make a shelter; craft tools, armor, and weapons, and protect yourself from monsters. Campers also create their own adventure map as design, production, and test playing guide them. Camp Dates: June 8th

Grossology
Campers will discover loads of horribly fantastic experiments! Projects focus on blood, bones and body bits! This is science with the squishy bits left in it! Camp Dates: June 8th

Intro to Programming
Campers will be using a software program from MIT called Scratch. The program was designed for children, and teaches them the basics of programing as they create animated stories, video games, and interactive artwork. Camp Dates: June 8th

Deep Space Robotics
Camp Deep Space takes campers to the edge of the universe on a mission to make a distant planet habitable for humans. Using LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Education Components and software, along with videos and animations campers, build and learn programming, tackle building challenges, and hone their robotic and project planning skills. Science factoids are interspersed throughout, accompanying engineering design activities tied into space exploration. Camp Dates: June 8th

Emergency Vet
This camp is a campers ticket to the world of Veterinary Medicine. Lessons will give campers the opportunity to look into the real and exciting field of Veterinary Medicine. Campers will meet practitioners in the field, pet groomers, and be involved with several hands-on experiments! Each camper will receive their very own medical kit! Camp Dates: June 8th

Robot Mechanic
Campers will learn about the science of robotics with historical information, discoveries, and advances in robot technology. Newton’s Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots! Camp Dates: June 8th

Young Scientist
The Young Scientists Science Day Camp was created in response to requests by parents to have a science camp for their younger children. All Young Scientist activities meet or exceed the National Science Standards. Fun and excitement is fostered by great lessons and hands-on experiments. Camp Dates: June 15th

Your Young Physician will really have a pulse on the human body with this camp! Camp Dates: June 15th

Jr. Robot Creator
Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors, and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. Counselors guide campers through their first 12 robot models, which include a variety of animals, soccer players, amazing mechanisms, and adventure stories. Camp Dates: June 15th
