Post Sesame Street Cereal is Good Enough for Me!

Invite Elmo and Cookie Monster over for breakfast with the new Post Sesame Street Cereal!

March 25, 2013
I'm so used to my 2-year-old begging for muffins or toast for breakfast, but ever since we got the new Post Seasme Street Cereal in the mail for review, his request has changed to our favorite furry Sesame Street friends, Elmo and Cookie Monster.  Their faces and signature smiles are what first captured our attention, but what we found inside the box was going to become a fast favorite!

Post Sesame Street Cereal has introduced their new cereal - "C is for Cookie" - in two tasty flavors: "A is for Apple" and "B is for Banana."  Let me just say "Y is for Yummy!"  The cereals are made from whole grains (2/3 of your toddler's daily whole-grain needs), natural flavors and colors, and are low in sugar.  With all of the unknown ingredients in so many foods these days, it's refreshing to know that there is a cereal about which we can feel good.

In the shapes of Xs and Os and with a light, but tasty, hint of apple or banana, the cereal is perfect as a first food for your little one.  The small pieces make it a great size for practicing that pincer grasp, and the melt-in-your-mouth morsels makes it easier for little ones still mastering tablefoods.

One of my favorite things about Post Sesame Street Cereal is that it's also great for snacking.  Even for adults!  Yup, I found myself grabbing a handful to munch on when I sat down to write this review, and my toddler has found it very entertaining to offer me a piece and then snatch it away before I have a chance to get it so he can enjoy the tasty crunch, too!  My 6-year-old and his friend even grabbed their favorite flavor after slowing down for snack-time during a playdate yesterday!

So, grab yourself a box or two and find out why all the kids (and moms) are falling in love with this tasty, nutritious cereal.  To make it even sweeter, click HERE for a $1 off coupon!
