Happy fall, ya'll! It's time for fall family fun in Alpharetta, Roswell, Milton and we can hardly wait! We are lucky to have so many fall events in Alpharetta, Roswell, Milton where families have been making fall memories for years. From fall festivals to free concerts to Halloween fun ... EVENTS

 September 9th-12th, STONE MOUNTAIN, Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain Park: More than 300 artists and crafters display their works for your appreciation and purchase. Enjoy fabulous festival food and crafter demonstrations throughout the event.

 September 11th, JOHNS CREEK, Pup-A-Palooza at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater in Newtown Park: This fun event features live music, caricature sketches of people with their furry BFFs, and more. There are contests for Best Dressed Dog and Best Dog Trick. 

 September 11th, CUMMING, Dogs Days at Cumming Aquatic Center: The dogs are in for a treat! Celebrate the dog days of summer by bringing your pooch to the Outdoor Leisure Pool!

  September 12th, ALPHARETTA, Sunday Funday at Halcyon: Live music, make and take crafts with Board and Brush, surprise animal visits.

🎵September 16th, ALPHARETTA, Music Match Featuring Brian Wiltsey at Clothes Horse Mens Apparel: Brian Wiltsey is a singer songwriter, musician, and producer of music from Atlanta.

🎵 September 16th, ALPHARETTA, Surf N Turf Concert Series with Bad Company Experience at CHIRINGA: The Surf n Turf Concert Series keeps hanging this fall! CHIRINGA and Home Town Mortgage have joined forces to bring a tidal wave of melodies to downtown Alpharetta with the Surf N Turf Concert Series

🎸 September 17th, ALPHARETTA, Avalon Nights Live: Unwind after a long week with live music in the Plaza every Friday from 6PM to 8PM at Avalon Nights Live!

🎥  September 17th, ALPHARETTA, Movie Night at Old Rucker Farm: Come hang with us as we host our first movie night at the farm!

  September 18th-19th, ALPHARETTA, European Market in Downtown Alpharetta:  For two days only you will find some of the best local artisans and gatherers in the area, showcasing an eclectic ensemble of vintage style home decor & furniture, beautiful works of art, handcrafted jewelry, one of a kind finds, fashion (both adult & children’s) clothing & accessories, gifts & unique treasures.

🍁 September 18th, ALPHARETTA, Oktoberfest at Halcyon: Get ready for games, a live polka band, costume contests, German food and, of course, beer.

🎵 September 18th, ALPHARETTA, Alpharetta Music Match Featuring Maria Deirisarri at Minnie Olivia: Maria Deirisarri, is a Fifteen-year-old singer/songwriter from Roswell, Ga. with deep Colombian roots, and dreams of sharing her music with the world incorporating English, French, and Spanish into her songs.

🎉 September 19th, ROSWELL,  Birthday Bash Carnival at Aurora Cineplex: Come out and celebrate Aurora's 11th year! The Birthday Bash is a thank you to all Aurora's fans and community! It is BOGO on everything and a carnival from noon until 4PM.

🍁 September 19th, ALPHARETTA, Sunday Funday at Halcyon: Live music, make and take crafts with Board and Brush, surprise animal visits.

🍁 September 19th, ROSWELL, Back to your Roots Farm Fair at Chattahoochee Nature Center: Join CNC for family fun celebrating the fall harvest. Meet live farm animals, get down in the dirt, and dance along with Bach 2 Rock!

🎸 September 24th, ALPHARETTA, Avalon Nights Live at Avalon: Kick back and groove to live tunes all season long!

  September 24th, ROSWELL, Family Food Truck Friday at Riverside Park: You'll find an array of different food trucks, as well as entertainment and fun for the whole family.

🎨 September 25th-26th, ALPHARETTA: Art in the Park at Brooke Street Park: This outdoor artists market features handcrafted work by local artists who create masterpieces right before your eyes

🎃 September 25th, ALPHARETTA: Brew Moon Fest at Downtown Alpharetta: Join us for a true dancing in the street party with local brews from Jekyll Brewing, live music by The Mike Veal Band, and a variety of food tents and local eateries.

🐶 September 26th, ALPHARETTA: Doodle Dog Day at Halycon: We invite doodles, other furry friends and their humans to Halcyon for an afternoon of dog-loving fun!

🎵September 26th, ALPHARETTA, Music Match Featuring Layne Denton at Central City Tavern: Layne Denton is a Duluth, GA native and is one of Atlanta’s fastest-rising stars in the city’s historic singer-songwriter community.

🎥  October 1st, ROSWELL: Movies in the Park Series at East Roswell Park: Bring a picnic along with your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening under the stars filled with great music, playground fun, and a family movie (Remember The Titans).

🎸 October 1st, ALPHARETTA, Avalon Nights Live at Avalon: Kick back and groove to live tunes all season long!

🎵October 1st, ALPHARETTA, Family Dance Party at Halcyon: One Friday each month, DJ Jake will play family friendly dance tunes while you show us your best moves. 

🎃 October 2nd, MILTON, Crabapple Fest 2021 at Downtown Milton: Milton’s signature antiques and arts festival that takes place the first Saturday in October in the heart of downtown Milton.

  October 2nd, ALPHARETTA: 8th Annual Grilling & Gridiron at Downtown Alpharetta: Grilling and other tailgating tastes. Children’s activities too including bouncy house, face painting, etc! Benefits The Lionheart School & Lionheart WORKS.

🎵October 2nd, ROSWELL, Roswell Riverside Sounds Concert Series at Riverside Park: This is a free, outdoor concert series.

🎵October 2nd, ALPHARETTA, Alpharetta Music Match Featuring Crooked Jones at Truck & Tap: Crooked Jones is a trio with John Plaziak on Lead Vocals & Guitar, Glenn Hellriegel on Guitar & Vocals and Bryan Brundell on Drums & Percussion.

🚗 October 3rd, ALPHARETTA, Festivals of Speed at Avalon: This exquisite motorsport display will showcase the world’s most exotic cars, motorcycles & luxury brands all placed for display on the elegant boulevard at AVALON.

🍁 October 3rd, ALPHARETTA, Sunday Funday at Halcyon: Live music, make and take crafts with Board and Brush, surprise animal visits.

🎭 October 4th, ALPHARETTA, Punchline Comedy at Avalon: Start your month off with lots of laughs from The Punchline Comedy featuring live comedy acts, drinks specials, and more!

  October 7th, ALPHARETTA, Food Truck Alley at Downtown Alpharetta: Culinary options include more than 10 food trucks each month, offering a diverse range of cuisine types.

🍁 October 9th, ROSWELL: Frances McGahee Youth Day Parade at First Baptist Church: The Annual Frances McGahee Youth Day Parade begins at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church on Mimosa Boulevard and end in Roswell Area Park on Woodstock Road. This year's theme is "Stronger Together.

  October 9th, ROSWELL, Annual Fall Farm Days at Smith Plantation: Free activities provided by Roswell Garden Club including handmade birdfeeders, crafts, scavenger hunt, floral arranging, petting zoo with farm animals, wagon rides and more!

🎃 October 12th, ROSWELL,  Outdoor Art: Spooky Canvas at East Roswell Library: Celebrate Halloween with spooky art on canvas. This art project involves paint.

🎵 October 14th, ALPHARETTA, Surf N Turf Concert Series with Suburban Angst at CHIRINGA: CHIRINGA and Home Town Mortgage have joined forces to bring a tidal wave of melodies to downtown Alpharetta with the Surf N Turf Concert Series. This is a free event.

🎸 October 15th, ALPHARETTA, Avalon Nights Live: Kick back and groove to live tunes all season long!

🎵October 16th, MILTON: Grand Opening Concert - Stage on The Green at Crabapple Market: Join us for a FREE Grand Opening Concert on Saturday, October 16th featuring The Decades Band.

🍁 October 17th, ALPHARETTA, Sunday Funday at Halcyon: Live music, make and take crafts with Board and Brush, surprise animal visits.

🎃 October 20th, JOHNS CREEK, Trunk or Treat at Johns Creek City Hall & JCPD Headquarters: Spooktacular Halloween-themed event for the entire family to enjoy.  Wear your best costume for this community event that features candy, treats, and activities for kids, and refreshments!

🎵 October 21st, ALPHARETTA, Surf N Turf Concert Series with Thin Ice at CHIRINGA: CHIRINGA and Home Town Mortgage have joined forces to bring a tidal wave of melodies to downtown Alpharetta with the Surf N Turf Concert Series. This is a free event.

🎃 October 22nd, ROSWELL, Halloween Hikes at Chattahoochee Nature Center: Explore the colorful forest to meet woodland creatures and hear about how they live. Take part in world music, crafts, campfire and festival fun.

🎃 October 23rd, ATLANTA, Boo at the Zoo: Sample treats throughout the Zoo, and enjoy the sights, characters, and adventures of the whimsical Zoo Boo Town on four magical days with more than 1,000 animals from around the world. Don’t forget your costume!

🎃 October 23rd, ROSWELL, The Magic of Arthur Atsma: A Halloween Magic Show at Roswell Cultural Arts Center: Contemplate the impossible, as Atlanta magician Arthur Atsma dazzles your mind. Laugh at the absurd, as Gus the stunt chicken finds your card

💪 October 24th, ALPHARETTA, Women's Half Marathon and 5K at Avalon: Pack your running shoes and join us for the Alpharetta Women’s Half Marathon and 5k presented by Altra Running.

🎃 October 24th, ATLANTA, Boo at the Zoo: Sample treats throughout the Zoo, and enjoy the sights, characters, and adventures of the whimsical Zoo Boo Town on four magical days with more than 1,000 animals from around the world. Don’t forget your costume!

🎃 October 24th, ATLANTA, Goblins in the Garden at Atlanta Botanical Garden: Show off your child’s Halloween costume, go on a pumpkin hunt and enjoy a few socially-distanced fall family activities during this fall family festival.

🍁 October 24th, ALPHARETTA, Sunday Funday at Halcyon: Live music, make and take crafts with Board and Brush, surprise animal visits.

🎃 October 24th, ROSWELL: Sip and Stroll Boo Y'ALL at Downtown Roswell: Ticket holders will get a “passport” to several Canton Street merchants redeemable for free drinks and discounts while they stroll & vote for the best BOO Y’aLL Scarecrows on display.

🎃 October 29th, ROSWELL, Halloween Hikes at Chattahoochee Nature Center: Explore the colorful forest to meet woodland creatures and hear about how they live. Take part in world music, crafts, campfire and festival fun.

🎃 October 29th, ATLANTA, Sips Under the Seas Halloween at Georgia Aquarium: Sharks lurk in the dark and piranhas prowl the waters. Join us if you dare for Sips Under the Sea: Halloween, exclusively for our 21+ guests!

🎃 October 29th, ALPHARETTA, Trick or Drink at Avalon: Calling all gals and ghouls, join Avalon for a Halloween celebration filled with tricks, treats, and plenty of “boos!”

🎃  October 30th: ALPHARETTA, Trick or Treat at Avalon: If you dare, join Avalon for a SPOOK-tacular Halloween celebration filled with Tricks and Treats for everyone! 

🎃 October 30th, ATLANTA, Boo at the Zoo: Sample treats throughout the Zoo, and enjoy the sights, characters, and adventures of the whimsical Zoo Boo Town on four magical days with more than 1,000 animals from around the world. Don’t forget your costume!

🎃 October 30th, JOHNS CREEK, Spooky Mill at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve: An all-day event designed to spook and delight through a series of stations. The stations include a bounce house, craft stations, haunted house, haunted trail, mad scientist, and more. Our event will end with a haunted hike.

🎃 October 30th, CUMMING: Haunted Forrest Halloween Festival at The Collection at Forysth: Visit the Haunted Forest for candy, entertainment, music, face painting, balloon twisting, vendors and costume contests.

🎃 October 30th, ROSWELL, Halloween Hikes at Chattahoochee Nature Center: Explore the colorful forest to meet woodland creatures and hear about how they live. Take part in world music, crafts, campfire and festival fun.

🎃 October 31st, ATLANTA, Boo at the Zoo: Sample treats throughout the Zoo, and enjoy the sights, characters, and adventures of the whimsical Zoo Boo Town on four magical days with more than 1,000 animals from around the world. Don’t forget your costume!

🍁 October 31st, ALPHARETTA, Sunday Funday at Halcyon: Live music, make and take crafts with Board and Brush, surprise animal visits.

ONGOING EVENTS

  September 10 - October 31st (select dates), PINE MOUNTAIN: Pumpkins at Callaway Gardens: Explore gardens by day and watch them glow by night with a brand-new family-friendly festival

   September 18th -  October 31st,  STONE MOUNTAIN: Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain Park: Play by day as you enjoy family-friendly park attractions and special fall entertainment featuring some of your favorite classic storybook characters! Then, after the sun goes down, you'll glow by night in a whole new light with the NEW Nighttime Parade and plenty of other NEW not-so-spooky glowing experiences!

  September 18th - October 24th (Thursdays-Sundays), MILTON: Fall at the Farm at Scottsdale Farms: In our field, you'll find a corn maze and hayride for all ages, lawn games fun for the whole family, and our very own Sunflower Field, which makes for the perfect photo backdrop.

  October 1st - October 31st, ROSWELL, Boo Y'all Scarecrows in Downtown Roswell: Enjoy scarecrows from businesses, schools and organizations throughout downtown Roswell.

  October 5th - October 31st, ALPHARETTA, Scarecrows in Downtown Alpharetta: Residents and visitors of Alpharetta look forward to seeing the downtown streets decorated with these scarecrows made by local students and teachers, businesses and families and organizations.

  September 28th - October 31st, ATLANTA and GAINESVILLE, Scarecrows in the Gardens at Botanical Gardens: Enjoy creative scarecrows handcrafted by businesses, individuals, schools and organizations, scattered throughout the Garden every autumn.
