Playground Guide In Alpharetta, Roswell, Milton and Surrounding Areas

ALPHARETTA

Cogburn Road Park: 12825 Cogburn Rd, Alpharetta
Cogburn Road Park amenities include a .2 mile concrete walking path, restroom facility and passive play area. Two small group pavilions are available on a first come first serve basis for intimate family picnics and celebrations. A large playground serves youth age 2-5 years and 5-12 years. Park visitors will also enjoy the Alpharetta Arboretum at Cogburn Road Park.  

North Park: 13450 Cogburn Rd., Alpharetta
North Park amenities include lighted tennis courts, a football field with synthetic turf, a multi-purpose field, eight lighted softball fields, two picnic pavilions, two playgrounds, an Adult Activity Center, an Arts Building, and a walking trail. North Park is also the home of the North Metro Miracle League at the Alpharetta Adapted Sports Complex.  

Union Hill Park: 1590 Little Pine Trail, Alpharetta
Union Hill Park amenities include two outdoor roller hockey rinks, one of which is covered.

Webb Bridge Park: 4780 Webb Bridge, Alpharetta
Webb Bridge Park amenities include two grass soccer fields, a multi-purpose synthetic turf field, four baseball fields, four tennis courts, a walking trail, an arboretum, concession stands, three picnic pavilions (available on a first come, first serve basis) and the Webb Zone Playground featuring a seasonal running water stream (pictured) and sundial.

Wills Park: 11925 Wills Rd, Alpharetta
Wills Park amenities include eight baseball fields, two tee ball fields, four picnic pavilions, Wacky World Playground, two smaller playgrounds, a disc golf course, tennis courts, a 1.8 mile walking trail, and the Alpharetta Arboretum at Wills Park.

Brooke Street Park: (Behind Alpharetta City Hall: 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, GA 30009)

Brooke Street Park is a passive park with a large green area and a man made stream. Great for a picnic and to take some balls to play on the green area. 

CUMMING

Caney Creek Preserve: 2755 Caney Road, Cumming
Walking trails, dog park, pavilions, natural amphitheater, playground with an archeological dig site and water play area.

Fowler Park: 4110 Carolene Way, Cumming
2 playgrounds, pavilions, walking trail, basketball courts, tennis courts, athletic fields.

Sawnee Mountain Preserve: 4075 Spot Rd., Cumming
A 963-acre park know for Indian Seats rock formation, with hiking trails and a interactive visitor center.

Sharon Springs Park: 1950 Sharon Road, Cumming
Tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, pavilions, football and lacrosse fields, basketball courts, batting cages, paved walking trail, playground, restrooms, and a community building with a kitchen.

JOHNS CREEK

Newtown Park: 3150 Old Alabama Road, Johns Creek
Features 52 acres with a small lake and walking and jogging trails, athletic fields, basketball courts, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, a community garden, and dog park.

Ocee Park: 10900 Buice Rd., Johns Creek
Ocee Park offers athletic and recreational options including playgrounds, walking trails, baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts and picnic pavilions.

Shakerag Park: 10945 Rogers Circle, Johns Creek
Featuring 66 acres with walking and jogging trails, lake, athletic fields, playground, and picnic pavilions.

MILTON

Bell Memorial Park: 15245 Bell Park Road, Milton
An active-use park with four baseball fields, pavilions, picnic areas, parking, concessions and a playground. 

Birmingham Park: 750 Hickory Flat Road, Milton
This 200-acre site, located behind Fire Station No. 43 at 750 Hickory Flat Road is open for passive use (hiking, dog walking, or horseback riding). 

Friendship Community Park: 12785 Birmingham Highway, Milton, GA 30004 
This 1.81 acre park, opened Dec. 1, 2012, is a joint venture with the the Fulton County School System. Located between Crabapple Crossing Elementary and Northwestern Middle School, it features a small picnic pavilion, walking path, half court basketball and a play field.

ROSWELL

Azalea Park: 203 Azalea Park, Roswell
Park and playground on the Chattahoochee River

East Roswell Park: 9000 Fouts Rd., Roswell
Enjoy playgrounds, pavilions, tennis courts and ballfields, and hiking trails.

Hembree Park: 850 Hembree Road, Roswell
Walking trails, a playground, baseball fields and batting cages, tennis courts and a pavilion.

Riverside Park: 575 Riverside Rd., Roswell

Roswell Area Park: 10495 Woodstock Rd., Roswell
Walking trails, swimming pool, playground, ballfileds, and picnic area.

Sloan Street: 75 Sloan Street, Roswell
Park with playground.

Sweet Apple Park: 11850 Crabapple Road, Roswell
Park, playground, walking trails, ballfields, and picnic area.

Waller Area Park: 250 Oak St., Roswell
Playground, picnic area, and athletic fields.

SANDY SPRINGS

Morgan Falls Overlook Park: 200 Morgan Falls Road, Sandy Springs

Picnic pavilions, children's playground, boat dock/fishing pier, hiking trail (less than 1 mile), fire pit, porch swings, scenic views, restrooms.
