Awesome Autumn Events Await in Alpharetta

Happy almost fall y’all! Before you know it, the leaves will transition to hues of crimson and gold, football gamedays are back on the calendar, pumpkin spiced everything will hit the shelves, and the magic of autumn will envelop you like a Sherpa pullover! Make the season memorable in Alpharetta, where exciting events abound. Make sure to add these upcoming fall festivities to your social calendar!

Alpharetta Art in the Park at Brooke Street Park: August 28–29 & September 25-26

Stroll through Alpharetta Art in the Park at Brooke Street Park on the weekend of August 28-29 and again on September 25-26, where you can admire the work of local artisans. Pottery, woodwork, metal work, jewelry creations, photography and paintings are displayed in the park for you to admire (and buy if you choose to!). Add locally sourced art to your home or find unique gifts as you slowly begin the annual countdown to Christmas shopping. Free admission.

Alpharetta Farmers Market: Saturday Mornings Through Dec 11

The Alpharetta Farmers Market is the place to go for an abundance of fruits, flowers, veggies, and goods sold throughout the market. Frequently including live music and activities for children, the market takes place in Downtown Alpharetta each Saturday from 8 a.m. to Noon through December 11. Fill up your cornucopia with freshly picked apples, sunny sunflowers, corn straight from the garden, and all your other fall favorites! Free admission.

European Market: September 18-19

Visit Downtown Alpharetta on Saturday, September 18, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. or Sunday, September 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to walk through the European Market. Peruse through home décor, furniture, works of art, handcrafted jewelry, clothing and more. The large market is free to attend and takes place rain or shine. You’ll feel like you are in an Italian bazaaro while filling your shopping bag with unique items you can’t find anywhere else! Free admission.

Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest: September 25

Voted a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event for 2019, you won’t want to miss this party! On September 25, Downtown Alpharetta comes alive for an annual beer fest with great food and beverages available for purchase. Bring your own chairs or purchase a table to share with friends. Join in dancing at this vibrant street party with local brews from Jekyll Brewing, live music by The Mike Veal Band, and a variety of food tents and local eateries. This event is rain or shine! Ticket required.

Alpharetta Food Truck Alley: September 2 & October 7

Alpharetta Food Truck Alley returns to Downtown Alpharetta on the first Thursday of the month in September and October. Culinary options include more than 10 food trucks each month, offering a diverse range of cuisine types. This is a family-friendly event, with limited seating available and will feature live music each month! Bring a blanket or chair but leave Fido at home for these events. Free admission.

Alpharetta Mayor’s Corporate Challenge 5K Race: September 30

On September 30 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Alpharetta City Hall, lace up your shoes and prepare to join in for the Alpharetta Mayor’s Corporate Challenge 5K Race. This incredible night of fun, running, friendly competition benefits the local and international charities supported by the Rotary Club of Alpharetta. Arrive early at 4:30 p.m. to enjoy food trucks and live music, then walk, jog, or run the race, starting at 6:30 p.m.! Registration required.

Alpharetta Restaurant Month: October 1-31

Alpharetta Restaurant Month invites you to dine out for a deal and a good cause throughout the month of October by purchasing a dining card from the Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce for $30. Present your card at participating Alpharetta restaurants between October 1-31, 2021 to receive 20% off your total FOOD bill (beverages and gratuity are NOT included). A portion of total proceeds earned from the sale of dining cards will go to North Fulton Community Charities Food Pantry and Senior Services North Fulton. Alpharetta Restaurant Month card required.

Grilling & Gridiron: October 2

Come out to Grilling & Gridiron in Downtown Alpharetta on October 2 from 1:30 – 4 p.m. to benefit The Lionheart School + Lionheart WORKS! You’ll enjoy delicious food, a big screen SEC football game, live music, cold beer, and plenty of kid’s activities. Ticket required

Wire & Wood Alpharetta Music Festival: October 8 – 9

Prepare for a weekend full of magical music with Wire & Wood Alpharetta Music Festival, a free two-day songwriters festival taking place on October 8 – 9 from 5-11 p.m. and including more than 30 live music performances across six stages in Downtown Alpharetta. Music will flow through the streets as talented artists perform their own songs with soulful melodies, magnificent vocals and expressive lyrics while interacting with the audience. You’ll learn the stories behind each song and may even recognize some of the tunes played by your favorite musicians. Free admission.

Alpharetta Women’s Half Marathon and 5K Race: October 24

Grab your girlfriends, pack your running shoes and head to Alpharetta for the Alpharetta Women’s Half Marathon & 5K on October 24. The race starts at 7 am and will take you on a foot tour of the beautiful fall scenery in Alpharetta and then cross the finish line at Avalon where you’re invited to celebrate with a post-race party. All pre-registered race participants will receive an Alpharetta Women’s Half Marathon 5K shirt, finisher medal, goodie bag and complimentary food and refreshments. Registration required.
