Sky Zone Roswell Offering Onsite Virtual Learning Support

August 12, 2020

With many schools opening in our community with universal digital learning, Sky Zone Roswell knows there are parents who need support! And we know it goes beyond just childcare. We know parents need a safe place where their kids can get help and guidance with their virtual classes, while parents go to work.

Sky Zone Roswell has been holding summer camp for years. We are re-working that program to create SkySchool!

AGES: SkySchool offers virtual learning support and is open for kids Kindergarten through 6th grade.

HOURS/PRICE: We are offering a half-day 8:00am – 1:30pm for $129/ week or full-day 8:00am - 5:30pm for $189/week, Monday through Friday.

Parents can sign up by the week or month with a 10% discount when you sign up for the entire month. Sibling discounts are $10 off per week. Arrangements may be made for before care and after care if needed for an additional cost. Classes will start August 17th (unless the start date is changed by Fulton County Schools).

  • Our instructors have experience working with kids at our camps and of course, daily, at our park. They have had to pass background and drug tests. They are also familiar with technology and will be able to assist students as needed.
  • We will use our party rooms/spaces as classrooms where similar grade/age children will be grouped together, with enough room apart to be social distanced.
  • We will have WiFi available. Students must bring their own device, charger and headphones. Or for the younger kids, parents must provide the printed packets of materials and school supplies needed for completion.
  • Parents must provide a copy the student’s school schedule along with completed SkySchool application and waiver.
  • Our staff will wear masks, have temperature checks and will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the rooms and the park throughout the day.
  • Students will be required to wear masks in the classrooms, but can remove when in the open areas.
  • While the focus will be on academics, In between courses or assignments and after completion of daily work, the groups will have the opportunity for some structured healthy active fun. Activities will include: jumping on trampolines, Sky Hoops, Dodgeball, competing on our Warrior Course and on our new Wipe Out, arts and crafts, STEM projects and other age-appropriate activities.
  • We are limiting our students to no more than 60 total, which would enable us to have a maximum of 10 students per room and allow for social distancing in the classrooms.
  • Parents should send water, snacks and lunch daily, however, our concessions will be open for students who want to purchase snack items and beverages.
  • Instructors will try to assist with academic questions. If they are not able to help, they can communicate with the online teachers to help the student resolve their issue.
  • Students are expected to be respectful and to follow instructions.
  • The well-being and safety of our Guests and Team Members is our first priority. In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we are taking actions to keep all of our students safe such as:
    •  Increased number of sanitizer stations throughout the park including at park entrance, select attractions, party rooms and bathrooms
    • Daily disinfectant spraying or fogging of entire park using products that meet the EPA criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19
    • Reduced capacity by at least 50% and social distancing floor markers for queuing at lobby and key attraction, increased daytime cleaning of all high-frequency touchpoints on a consistent basis in addition to regular cleaning procedures.
    • All Team Members required to wear a face covering/mask.
    • We are following all necessary state and local health department guidelines. We are also closely monitoring CDC guidelines and will provide prompt updates should the situation change.
