Local Girl Raising Money for CHOA at Peace, Love, Bracelets Event!

April 17, 2017

Meet Bella. She's a 9-year-old girl living in our community, and she is on a mission...a mission to change the lives of children battling cancer at CHOA Aflac Cancer Center, one American Girl doll at a time.

Bella has joined forces with Kids Boost, a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and equipping kids to make a difference in the world, and is hosting an event this week to get her closer to her goal of raising $3,250. And, you're invited!

Why Bella Chose CHOA Aflac Cancer Center
"I choose to donate bald American Girl dolls to little girls going through chemotherapy/radiation that have experienced hair loss.  I want to make a little girl feel happy when they are scared or sad in the hospital. Also, I want them to know to always be happy, be brave and have faith in God about what they are going through. With their new doll they will also get a hospital gown, hospital bracelet, socks and get well card. That way they can dress the same as their new friend."

Bella's Peace, Love, Bracelets Party
What little girl doesn’t love a beautiful doll? Bella has a passion for her American Girl Dolls, making bracelets and helping others.  She is combining her passions to make bracelets to buy bald American Girl dolls for little girls undergoing treatment for cancer. Stop by the party to make bracelets to take home and to share while enjoying the best yummy treats.  It’s sure to be a night to remember!

Date: Friday, April 21st
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 PM
